Save the Date: GripTape Gallery 2026
GripTape Gallery is back.
The Butler Area Skatepark Association is excited to announce the 2nd Annual GripTape Gallery, returning to the Butler Art Center on Friday, November 13, 2026.
GripTape Gallery brings together artists from across our community to transform blank skateboard decks into one-of-a-kind works of art. Completed decks will be displayed at the Butler Art Center and auctioned to support BASA's mission of building a new, professionally designed concrete skatepark in the City of Butler.
Last year's inaugural show featured 65 artists, and this year we're going even bigger.
The gallery will open for viewing beginning Wednesday, November 11, during regular Butler Art Center hours, with the main GripTape Gallery event taking place Friday, November 13.
Want to Get Involved?
We're currently recruiting artists for the 2026 show. BASA can provide participating artists with a blank skateboard deck while supplies last, or artists are welcome to provide their own.
We're also accepting $25 donations to sponsor a blank deck for an artist. Every sponsored deck helps us bring another artist into the show while keeping the event accessible to the community.
More details about the event, participating artists, auction, and schedule will be announced as we get closer.

BASA events are built for the community. Bring a friend, meet the team, and help keep the skatepark project moving.
Support the mission
