Help us grow the Butler skateboarding community by funding events and improvements to our local skatepark!
About Us
We are a non-profit dedicated to supporting skateboarding in the city of Butler, Pennsylvania by helping raise funds alongside the city to build and maintain the local Butler skatepark at Father Marinaro, host skateboarding events and contests, and provide educational camps for the local youth.

Skateboard Art Show

🖤 Grip Tape Gallery — Skateboard Art Show 🖤
Join us for an unforgettable night of art, skate culture, music, and community at the Butler Area Skatepark Association’s Skateboard Art Show!
Over 50 artists of all ages are transforming blank skateboards into one-of-a-kind works of art. From bold street graphics to fine-art interpretations, every board tells a story.
All boards will be on display and available for purchase, with proceeds directly supporting the Butler Area Skatepark Association (BASA) — a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to bring a modern concrete skatepark to Butler, PA.
Entry is totally free, with a $5 suggested donation, but if you can’t swing that and just want to come see some boards and enjoy the vibes, everyone is absolutely welcome!
📍 Location: Art Center on Main — 322 S Main St, Butler, PA 16001
📅 Date: October 14, 2025
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

🎨 A gallery of custom skateboard decks
🎵 Live music from The Snow Birds (Acoustic Set) + Murphy Lawless
